History

Sound of Faith Broadcasting Inc., a not-for-profit organization, was quietly born in 1994 when a group of people began meeting in a church basement in Woodstock with a dream of bringing Christian radio into Southwestern Ontario.

CHJX London went on the air in the fall of 2003 as Grace FM on 105.9 with only 10 watts of power.  CHJX was eventually approved by the CRTC to change to the new frequency of 99.9 with 500 watts.  This change was implemented on August 31, 2012.  In September 2012, the station was re-branded as Faith FM 99.9 London.

On August 1, 2014, Faith FM moved to new studios at 120 Wellington Street, after several years at the Youth For Christ Centre on Adelaide Street.
